For more than a decade and half, I have been involved directly with Publishing in different capacities. Writing, training others to write and consulting on publishing related matters has been an exciting adventure in addition to leading and growing a publishing business that was on the verge of closure when I was involved with it.
As a founding Director of Publishing Institute of Africa and former Publisher and Chief Executive Officer at Evangel Publishing House, I get a great deal of satisfaction from seeing new stories told and new books written by someone who otherwise would not have told their story without some support.
I graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration (Leadership & Governance) from the University of Central Nicaragua and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from SMC University, Switzerland. My research was in the area of Governance and Leadership. I do hold a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta and Egerton Universities respectively.
I am an author and co-author of several books among them Leading Strategic Change, Transformational Corporate Leadership, The Kenya National Anthem: Our prayer & Effective Corporate Governance (In progress) among many others as well as contributing articles in various magazines around the world.
I enjoy continuous learning and hence taught Leadership and Governance at St. Paul’s University and Pan Africa Christian University. I have also supervised students doing their Research Projects in the graduate programs. In addition, I have consulted for many public and private sector organizations and I enjoy training and facilitating workshops and seminars around the globe.
